Information for photographers
Photographers must wear a photo vest at all times while working at the RG World Championships 2026. These will be issued following a briefing and upon payment of a deposit of 20 euros (cash only).
A limited number of lockers are available for the secure storage of photographic equipment.
During the competition, only the designated photo zones may be used.
Media accreditation
Media accreditation is handled exclusively by World Gymnastics. Applications for accreditation can be submitted between 29 June and 19 July 2026. For organisational reasons, it is not possible to obtain accreditation on site without prior registration and confirmation.

Media hotel
An exclusive block of rooms is available for media representatives at the Frankfurt Marriott Hotel for the RG World Championships. Rooms can be booked exclusively via the link below for the period from 11 to 17 August 2026. This block is available until 14 July 2026.

The tourism tax is levied in addition to the booked services and paid to the city of Frankfurt am Main. It currently amounts to 2 euro per person / night (VAT exempt).
Press gallery
Journalists are welcome to take a seat in the press gallery. It serves as a workspace during events and is equipped with the necessary facilities, such as electricity, Wi-Fi and a LAN connection, to enable professional reporting. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Press workrooms
The press centre consists of two separate workrooms, which are also equipped with the necessary facilities such as electricity, Wi-Fi and LAN. These are open before the competition and for a limited period afterwards, in accordance with the opening hours mentioned above. Contact persons are available there to assist with any questions or issues.
Press parking
A limited number of parking spaces are available near the Festhalle for media representatives. Please send an email to julia.koerner@dtb.de to make a request.
Mixed Zone
Media representatives have the opportunity to meet the gymnasts in the Mixed Zone for so-called flash interviews after their respective competitions. The Mixed Zone is divided into specific sectors where media representatives can conduct their interviews.
Internet
There will be a free Wi-Fi network available to the press; the login details will be displayed on site. There will also be LAN connections available in the press centre.
