Behind every world-class event are dedicated people making it happen. The German Gymnastics Federation is now looking for volunteers to help bring the Championships to life. From welcoming fans to supporting the athletes, there are many ways to get involved. End of the registration period:31 March 2026 Assignment period: 6 to 17 August 2026 Event period: 12 to 16 August 2026
ACCREDITATION From the head coach to the athletes to the VIPs - in the accreditation office, you set the course for all participants and contributors by issuing of the event accreditations. You will support with data entry, the creation of passport photos and the production of accreditations. Ideally, you should be available a few days before the event.
EVENT OPERATIONS Press representatives from all over the world are waiting for you. You will accompany the gymnasts to the mixed zone and ensure order in the media gallery. You will support the camera team in the TV production and look after the various media zones. If you want to take a look behind the scenes of the RG media landscape and like to be the one making things happen backstage , then this is the perfect place for you.
EVENT TRANSPORT Do you enjoy driving or would you be interested in supporting our Transportation Manager? Maybe you even know your way around Frankfurt well and want to navigate our officials, VIPs, referees or athletes safely through the city. Sounds exciting? We think so too!
GUEST MANAGEMENT This is where direct communication with all the athletes of the World Championships takes place. Would you like to welcome the gymnasts at the airport or in the hotels? Can you imagine being the first point of contact for participants at the Sports Info Desk in the venue? Do you want to take care of the training areas and thus ensure optimal competition preparation for the gymnasts? If so, then you've come to the right place in the Guest Management Team!
LOGISTCS Do you have an eye for detail and a professional appearance? Then our logistics team is the right place for you! You will oversee the entire venue including the Field of Play and ensure a clean appearance. You will assist with setup and dismantling or support with the venue dressing.
MEDICAL OPERATIONS Certainly one of the more discreet, but also most versatile areas. In this role, you will support the anti-doping chaperones and assist the medical team carrying out doping controls, among other responsibilities. You will also support the team in the medical area.

SPECTATOR SERVICE You ensure that our spectators experience the competition as a special event from the very beginning. You will welcome visitors at the entrance, scan tickets and be available to answer any questions. At the spectator entrances, you keep an eye on the Field of Play and support the spectator guidance.

You must be at least 16 years old on 6 August 2026
You speak German and English
You are available to work for at least three days
